I will be doing a house concert of my recent and very early pieces for piano at my home at 1050 Santa Fe Avenue in Albany on Sunday, June 11 at 4:00.

I’m going to start playing a group of my favorite pieces by Satie, Mozart and Bach 15 or 20 minutes before 4:00. You’re welcome to come early and hear them all if you like, but when you enter, just quietly find a seat and get settled. When it seems everyone has arrived I’ll start in on my pieces. There will be food and drink after the performance.

This won’t be a good performance for kids. The music is modern and can be strenuous for young people. Also, I tell stories as part of my performance and some of the stories aren’t appropriate for kids.

Here are two links to recordings of two of the pieces I’ll be playing to give you an idea of what you’ll hear:

Here’s a reminder about the Palo Alto Concert:

I’ll be playing an house concert of the same program as above in Palo Alto at 8:00pm on Friday, June 16. Please send me an email at ric@thetravelingmusicschool.com for the address.
